Privacy Policy

Braxsys collects very little, tracks nothing, and tells you plainly what happens with what you do send. This page is the whole story.

// 01 · WHAT THIS COVERS

This policy covers the website at braxsys.ca, operated by Braxsys from Ontario, Canada. It applies to visitors of this site and to people who contact us through it. Questions and requests go to james@braxsys.ca.

// 02 · WHAT WE COLLECT

Browsing: nothing personal. This site runs no analytics, no trackers, and sets no cookies for visitors. Fonts and all page assets are served from our own infrastructure, so page loads don't send your address to third parties. Our web server keeps standard, short-lived operational logs.

The contact form: if you write to us we receive what you type — your name, email address, project type, budget range, and message — together with a submission timestamp. From your email address we derive your organization's web domain to understand who's writing.

Booking a call: the calendar on our start page is provided by Cal.com and loads only if you click to load it. Once loaded, Cal.com receives your visit and sets its own cookies under Cal.com's privacy policy.

// 03 · HOW WE USE IT

We use contact-form submissions to respond to your inquiry and to prepare for that conversation. Preparing may include researching publicly available information about your business (such as your public website) and using AI tools — Anthropic's Claude API — to summarize that research and help draft our response. We may follow up by email about your inquiry; every such email includes a working way to tell us to stop, and we honor it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

// 04 · WHERE IT LIVES

Inquiries are stored in databases we operate ourselves on servers hosted with Hetzner in the European Union. The service providers that touch your data in the course of the uses above are our hosting provider (Hetzner), Anthropic (AI processing of inquiry and research text), and our email provider (message delivery). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

// 05 · COOKIES

Visiting this site sets no cookies. The only first-party cookie is a strictly-necessary session cookie created when a site operator signs in to the private dashboard — it never applies to visitors. Cal.com sets its own cookies only after you click to load the booking calendar. Because there are no optional cookies, there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

// 06 · RETENTION

We keep inquiry records for as long as the conversation is live or a business relationship exists, and delete or anonymize them when they are no longer needed. Server logs rotate on a short schedule. You can request deletion at any time — see below.

// 07 · YOUR RIGHTS

Under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to further contact, or ask us to delete it. Email james@braxsys.ca and we'll act on it promptly. If you're unsatisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

// 08 · CHANGES & CONTACT

If this policy changes in substance, the effective date above changes with it. The current version always lives at this address. Contact: james@braxsys.ca.
